Built between the late 1800’s to around 1940 for families working in the mill, these lovingly restored mill houses nestled on four streets have been fully updated complete with original hardwood floors, front porches, decks, fireplaces with optional wood stoves, community garden spots and more. Fully insulated with natural gas hot water heaters, cook stoves, and central air and heat, the Saxapahaw Village Cottages which range in price from $1015 to $2095 per month are exceptionally energy efficient and affordable. With a mix of styles and floor plans from cozy 800 sf one bedroom cottages to spacious 2000+ sf five bedroom bungalows, Saxapahaw retains the character and ambience of its past while offering folks a variety of choices all with modern conveniences such as high speed internet.
